Allison & Lillia was one of my major picks for the season. I was convinced it was going to be awesome. And so far, it hasn't disappointed me. I think what I like the most is the dynamic between the two main characters. They remind me of one of my favorite anime pairs of all time, the lovely Haruhi and Kyon from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.  ( Read more... )

I'm watching the first episode of Zettai Karen Children! This is... this is like Powerpuff Girls aimed at a more mature audience. Three girls with superpowers... even the opening song kind of reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls... they destroy the city a lot in their attempts to save it... I have to confess. WHEN I WAS a young girl I did not really like anime, because I thought anime was either A) Dragon Ball (shounen), B) Sailor Moon (shoujo), C) Pokemon (...Pokemon), or D) hentai. Okay, first of all: Gonzo is going in the right direction by letting Blassreiter and Druaga be shown online simultaneously. The future of fansubbing, this is. Now if only the future could be shown in better quality streaming...
